ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Derrick Fenner

Founder, Everfourward | Community Leader | Former NFL Player
Derrick Fenner is a former NFL athlete and the founder of the Everfourward Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering justice-involved young adults through entrepreneurship, mentorship, and career development. Guided by his lived experience and a deep commitment to community impact, Derrick works to help returning citizens rebuild their lives with purpose, stability, and direction.
For more than five years, Derrick has partnered with Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Aisha Braveboy through the Emerging Adults Program. In this capacity, he has provided incarcerated young men with coaching, workforce readiness training, and a practical “playbook” for successful reentry. His holistic, results-driven approach—grounded in accountability, leadership, and economic empowerment—has contributed to reduced recidivism and stronger long-term outcomes.
Prior to founding Everfourward, Derrick served as CEO of GIK, a nonprofit organization that supported first-time homebuyers in underserved communities, helping them navigate the path to homeownership and build generational wealth.
A graduate of Prince George’s County Public Schools, Derrick brings authentic leadership, lived experience, and a powerful voice to advancing justice reform, reentry initiatives, and youth development.
